Wishkeepr in brief

Wishkeepr is a free online wishlist tool from Berlin. A wishlist is created in seconds and shared with a single link, with no sign-up. Family and friends reserve their gifts without an account too, so nothing is given twice. The wishes can come from any online shop.

Full description

Wishkeepr grew out of a children's birthday party: the daughter's wishes were spread across different shops, group chats got confusing, and no single retailer's wishlist covered everything. Because there was no central, free place for all the wishes without sign-up hurdles, a couple of parents from Berlin built it themselves.

How it works: whoever is wishing creates a list with one click and adds wishes by product link; the title, picture and price are usually filled in automatically. On a computer the Keepr button is quicker still: one click in the shop, and the wish is on the list. The link to the list is shared by messenger or email. Guests see which wishes are still free, reserve one with a click, and then buy it in the linked shop.

Wishkeepr is free with all its features and shows no ads. It is funded by small commissions some shops pay for purchases made through it; the price for the gift-giver stays the same. Wishkeepr sets no tracking cookies, passes no data on, and stores it on servers in Germany. A list is deleted automatically one year after its last change.
